In Little Nicky Adam Sandler plays Nicky, Satan’s son who has to go to earth to save his father from decomposing.

Satan (Harvey Keitel) has decided that he is going to rule hell for the next 100 years.  Two of his sons who were hoping for their father to step down and leaving hell to either one of

them do not approve of his decision and decide to go to Earth and create their own hell up there.

Nicky is sent to earth to capture them and bring them back to hell but when he arrives in New York he discovers he has some new activites that he has to deal with like meeting people, eating, sleeping and try not to get himself killed.

He runs his own company selling toilet plungers. He has found a way to collect frequent flyer miles by bying anormous amount of pudding and he has trouble talking to women.

One of his sisters tries to introduce him with his co-worker Lena (Emily Watson) but when Egan calls a phone sex hotline and one of the operator tries to extort money from him it makes it complicated to bond with Lena.

• The film was inspired by an article in ‘Time’ magazine about David Phillips, a University of California civil engineer who stumbled upon a lucrative frequent-flyer promotion. By purchasing 12,150 cups of Healthy Choice pudding for just $3,000, he accumulated 1.25 million air-miles.

• In a scene in the hotel in Hawaii, Lena is asked to unload the “484’s.” In another of Paul Thomas Anderson’s films, Boogie Nights (1997), Buck’s boss at the stereo shop tells him to unload the “484s.”

• At one point in the film, Adam Sandler (Barry) is being followed by the Steadicam as he talks on the phone. During one take, the front of the camera accidentally bumped into a table and knocked the camera briefly, causing the shot to jump from Sandler to an image of an out-of-focus piece of the set and then quickly re-adjust. Paul Thomas Anderson loved the effect and wanted to do it again, so the crew did more takes and right at the same point in the dialog, they smacked the front of the matte box on the camera to re-create the look.

• The four blond brothers who go after Barry and beat him up are actually brothers in real life.

• The song “He Needs Me”, the theme of the movie, is from the 1980s movie Popeye (1980) with Robin Williams and Shelley Duvall, who sang the song. It was written by Harry Nilsson. Composer Jon Brion wrote score over top of the original and renamed the song “He Really Needs Me,” which is the version heard in the film, although both are included on the soundtrack.

• ‘Sean Penn’ was originally going to play Dean Trumbell but had to drop out.

• John C. Reilly was originally supposed to play one of the men who come from Utah to collect the money. But Reilly thought that it was a strange role for him, considering how everyone would recognize him and would wonder why he was not doing more. So he dropped out.

• Director Trademark: [Paul Thomas Anderson] [iris in/out] After Barry and Lena have gotten together in Hawaii, there is a shot of them walking down a hallway, away from the camera. They hold hands, and the shot closes with an Iris Out, the circle going around their hands.

• During the scene where Barry is at the supermarket looking for the cheapest Healthy Choice food item, he is being followed by an out-of-focus character in a red outfit. It’s Emily Watson’s character, before they’ve been introduced.

• When Barry says, “That’s very food,” it was actually just a typo that the director decided to keep.

• The film has no opening titles. All titles and credits appear at the end.

• The address listed to return the frequent flyer promotional coupon is Healthy Choice Frequent Flyer Offer, P.O. Box 440201 Dept A, El Paso, TX 88544-0201. This is almost exactly the listing from the original promotion, except the second line read “Dept. A” instead of E.

• Barry gives a Master Card number to the sex line. Master Cards begin with the number “5″ (Visa is “4,” AmEx “3″).

• When Barry punches his office wall then rests a bloody hand on his piano, the cuts on his knuckles spell the word ‘love’.

• In the goofs section, a mistake is noted on the hotel. The hotel is advertised as the Sheraton, and bathrobe is adorned with a Mandarin emblem. The hotel is actually the Princeville and was intentionally confused. One of the Princeville’s motto’s: “Perfect for Romance”.

 Longfellow Deeds (Adam Sandler) is an ordinary country man who runs a pizzeria in New Hampshire and designs postcards in his hobbies.

One day he is contacted by couple of businessmans that tell him his nephew just died and left him his company that is worth $40 billion.

Deeds has to go to New York to finish some paperwork and there he meets Babe Bannet (Winona Ryder), a reporter that will stop at nothing to write a story about Deeds.  While trying to get a good story she falls in love with Deeds and together they discover that these businessman that contacted Deeds just want to buy the company from Deeds so they can sell it an make a profit.

• The main helicopter used in the film is a Sikorsky S-92. At the time of production, the S-92 was not an FAA certified aircraft (still under development) and without much of an interior. No cast or film crew were allowed aboard the helicopter during operation, and all interior shots had to be faked.

Dave Buznik (Adam Sandler) is an insecure, shy man with alot of built up rage inside.  Ever since he was a kid he’s always had problems standing up for himself.  He’s afraid of kissing his girlfriend in public after an incident with a bully when he was a child and his boss takes all the credits for his work.

One day Dave is taking a business trip and after an incident with one of the stewardess he gets arrested and is instructed by a judge to attend Buddy Rydell’s (Jack Nicholson) anger management class.

After attending Rydell’s class for couple of days Dave realizes that Rydell may have some issues for him self to work out and when Rydell takes special intrest with Dave and decides to move in with him so he can watch him 24/7  things start to get really intersesting.

This is a story of two families with very different thoughts towards life.  You have John (Adam Sandler) a likeable guy that tries to teach his children independence and accepts them as they are, his wife Deborah, who wants their children to be perfect but sees them as failiurs, and their two kids. On the other hand you have Flor a poor, Mexican single mother of Christina.

Flor gets hired as a housekeeper for John’s family and later she gets asked to move in with them along with her daughter Christina.  When Deborah gets impressed with how well behaved Christina is she starts treating her as the daughter she wished she had by sending her to private school, taking her shopping and showing her more love than her own daughter.

To all of that you can add an attraction between John and Flor, an affair and Deborah’s mother, a carefree drunk who tries to stop her daughter from doing the biggest mistake of her life and you got an excellent dramatic movie.

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore reunite again in this heartwarming story about Henry Roth (Adam Sandler), a marine-life veterinarian by day but at night he’s breaking the hearts of female tourists by seducing them and then telling them a lie that he’s a secret agent and has been called for a mission, and Lucy Whitmore who enjoys life and loves nothing more than to sit in a café reading a book.

One day he meets Lucy (Drew Barrymore) in a local café and takes her on a date and they decide to meet again the next morning.  When Henry goes to the café again the next morning and starts to talk to lucy she doesn’t remember him.

Lucy was in a car accident a year ago causing her only to remember the current day. But on that first date Henry fell in love with lucy so he starts trying to find new ways to meet her again for the first time hoping that she will remember him someday.

• In an early scene, Rob Schneider attempts a golf drive by running up to the tee before swinging. Adam Sandler says, “That’s the stupidest looking swing I’ve ever seen.” This is a joke on Sandler’s character’s trademark golf swing in Happy Gilmore (1996).
• Lucy is treated at the “Callahan Institute”, which Dr. Keats (Dan Aykroyd) tells Lucy’s family is funded by an automotive magnate, T.B. Callahan, out of Sandusky, Ohio. In Tommy Boy (1995), Chris Farley plays Thomas Callahan III, who runs an auto parts factory in Sandusky that’s being threatened with foreclosure by Dan Aykroyd’s character. Tommy Boy (1995) was also directed by Peter Segal.
• The original script set the movie in Seattle, the hometown of scriptwriter George Wing.
